Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Cashflow Currents (the "Publication") is operated by Media Miami LLC ("Media Miami," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you access the Publication, subscribe to our emails or SMS program, or otherwise interact with us.

If you use our Publication through the beehiiv platform, some processing is performed by beehiiv as our service provider and, in certain cases, by beehiiv as an independent controller for its own platform purposes (e.g., security and abuse prevention). Please also review beehiiv's policies.

1) Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our pages and content;

  • Email subscribers (free or paid, if applicable);

  • SMS/text messaging program subscribers;

  • Individuals who communicate with us.

2) Age Requirement

The Publication is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing or using the Publication or SMS program, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe that you are under 18.

3) Information We Collect

Information you provide

We may collect:

  • Subscription information such as email address, name (if provided), and preferences;

  • Mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent, if you sign up for our text messaging program;

  • Communications when you contact us or reply to emails;

  • Payment-related information (if paid subscriptions are offered): billing status and transaction identifiers from payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our pages or read our emails, we and our service providers may collect:

  • Device and log data (e.g., IP address, browser type, approximate location inferred from IP, device identifiers, timestamps, referrer URLs);

  • Cookies and similar technologies data (e.g., cookies, SDKs, pixels);

  • Email engagement data (e.g., opens and link clicks);

  • SMS delivery and engagement data (e.g., delivery status, opt-in/opt-out events).

You can typically control cookies through your browser settings. Some email clients allow you to limit tracking by disabling automatic image loading or using privacy features.

4) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Publication (deliver emails and SMS messages, manage subscriptions, customer support);

  • Send SMS messages you have opted in to receive, including newsletter alerts and occasional partner offers;

  • Personalize content and improve performance (analytics, debugging, service optimization);

  • Send operational messages (service notices, billing notices for paid subscriptions);

  • Send promotional communications where permitted (you can opt out at any time via email unsubscribe link or by texting STOP);

  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;

  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

5) SMS Program. Data Practices

5.1 Number collected. When you opt in to our SMS program, we collect and store your mobile phone number along with the timestamp and method of your consent, in order to demonstrate compliance with applicable telemarketing laws.

5.2 No sharing of mobile opt-in data. We do not sell, share, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in/consent data to any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information is used solely to operate the Cashflow Currents SMS program described in these policies.

5.3 Service providers. We may share your mobile number with SMS platform/service providers (e.g., messaging infrastructure vendors) solely to deliver the text messages you requested. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for any other purpose.

5.4 Opt-out. If you have questions, issues, or experience any problems with the SMS program, you can contact us at +1 (707) 782-4671 or email [email protected].

6) How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. We may share information as follows:

Service providers (including beehiiv and SMS vendors)

We use vendors to operate the Publication, including beehiiv for hosting and email delivery, and SMS platform providers for text message delivery. These vendors process data to provide services to us and may also process certain data as independent controllers for platform-level purposes such as security and abuse prevention.

Affiliate links, sponsorship, and attribution

Some content may include affiliate links or be sponsored. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission. Sponsored items will be labeled ("Sponsored," "Advertisement," or similar). We may share limited event data (such as link click events or conversion attribution signals) with partners for reporting and attribution, this does not include your mobile phone number.

Legal, safety, and compliance

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, investigate fraud, or respond to governmental requests.

Business transfers

If we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy's protections for mobile/SMS data continuing to apply.
